National Merit Semifinalist 2024 Maryland Football. Our semifinalists will compete against approximately 16,000 other students for a chance to obtain a national merit scholarship this spring. The school district of lee county is excited to announce six students have been selected as semifinalists in the 2024 national merit® scholarship program.

Before checking out the qualifying scores, let’s discuss how the national merit scholarship corporation (nmsc) determines who is named commended student or semifinalist. Eligible students who have a selection index at or above the cutoffs will be named semifinalists.
